Nikkei Horizons in Action

Origami Art – Assorted Boxes

In this two-part class, students learned how to create lovely boxes using the ancient Japanese art of origami. Instructor Charlene Neuss taught them to transform simple sheets of paper into beautiful and practical boxes that are great for gifts as well as to store precious keepsakes for yourself.

Student Rebecca Durham definitely has got the knack for origami boxes.

Interested in more of Charlene’s classes? She offers another origami class in Fall Quarter, creating intricate origami kanzashi, stunning hair ornaments. You are welcome to explore other Japanese craft workshops in Chiyogami Ningyo, Mizuhiki Zaiku, and Zokei Bonsai.

Wait, there’s more! Prepare for the holidays with exquisite Christmas Eggshell and Hawaiian Christmas Angel ornament workshops. It’s a crafting paradise with Nikkei Horizons.
