Telling their story – Hula at Nikkei Horizons

Tomi Zumoto and Gei Chan make hula look easy – because it is!

In Nikkei Horizons’ hula class, students learned to express the mood and movements of hula and Polynesian dancing and enjoyed some low-impact exercise in this fun class. The students also worked with Hawaiian bamboo sticks, pu’ili, to add zest and rhythm to their movements.
